KID Junmai Daiginjo has a well-balanced acidity that gives way to a clean finish. This sake is an excellent accompaniment to meals.

Tasting notes: Aromas of melon, fruity with a floral touch. Overall medium-bodied with a nuanced richness where a mild umami spreads gently in the mouth. A well-crafted sake to enjoy in a wine glass. Very elegant !

The young president Norimasa Yamamoto likes to use yeast No. 9, describing it as “strong against other bacteria, and coherent”. He describes this sake as: "not very rich for a daiginjo. Try it chilled first, then as the night progresses, enjoy it at room temperature, as the richer flavors that develop become better when the alcohol goes to our heads!”

Heiwa in the race for the stars... or Heiwa Brewery's bold attempt to launch a rocket and inspire an industry: "It's one small step for Heiwa Shuzo, but one giant leap for sake!"
In fact, in 2019 the daring producer is trying to transform its famous KID brand of junmai daiginjo into fuel to power one of Interstellar Technologies' Momo commercial rockets. As one can imagine, this initiative caused a lot of talk about Heiwa in the media, but it was for the benefit of the entire sake brewing profession that President Norimasa Yamamoto developed this somewhat crazy project.
And on July 27 at around 4 p.m., Momo-4 was launched toward the stars from Taiki (Hokkaido) carrying a payload that included two bottles of KID Junmai Daiginjo Sora He!
